The City of Scottsburg has issued a Boil Water Advisory for portions of the community due to a water main break. Residents and businesses in the affected area are advised to boil all tap water before use until further notice.

Main Street from Lovers Lane to Cherry Street

Eastward to Scottsburg Middle School
During this advisory, all tap water should be boiled for at least one full minute before being used for drinking, cooking, brushing teeth, or preparing food. Bottled water may also be used as an alternative. Ice made with tap water should not be consumed, and residents should discard any ice made since the advisory was issued.
City officials will continue to monitor the situation and will provide updates as soon as the advisory is lifted. We will share those updates promptly on our website and social media channels.
