We Care is our ongoing non-profit charity that raises money to provide warm, winter clothing for the children in Scott County through an auction the first weekend of December every year. I105.3 is proud to provide the on-air time and talent to produce this 30-hour straight coverage and hosting of the We Care auction.

Since 1990, We Care has raised over 2 million dollars and clothed countless children in need of extra care. To find out more if your child qualifies for We Care benefits, please get in touch with your child’s teacher or principal (for Scott County School District only).

It takes hundreds of staff, volunteers, and of course, donations to make We Care possible. Here’s how you can get involved:

1. Donate items to the We Care Auction
2. Donate a monetary gift on our website HERE, or by coming to the station
3. Volunteer your time to help support the auction 
4. Listen in during the auction and knock off some of your Christmas shopping while also helping the children in Scott County
