Your Child Could Be the Next WeatherKid on I105.3!
Do you have a future meteorologist, radio personality, or just a kid who loves being in the spotlight? Now’s their chance to shine on the air with the new I105.3 WeatherKids Contest!
Children ages 6–15 can enter for a chance to become our special guest Junior Weathercaster on WMPI I105.3! Each week between June 10th and July 29th, one lucky child will be randomly selected to visit the station and help read weather forecasts live on the radio during a Wednesday morning broadcast.
It’s a fun and exciting opportunity for kids to experience what it’s like behind the scenes at Southern Indiana’s hometown country station while sharing the forecast with listeners across Scott County and beyond!
Parents of selected children should note that participants must:
- Be accompanied by a parent or guardian
- Arrive at the I105.3 studios by 7:30 AM on their scheduled day
